The "Level" below does NOT indicate magnitude.
Level 7 - Very High Risk = Violet
Level 6 - Very High Risk = Blue
Level 5 - High Risk = Red
Level 4 - High Risk = Red-Orange
Level 3 - Moderate Risk = Orange
Level 2 - Moderate Risk = yellow
Level 1 - Low Risk = green
Very Low Risk = white
IMPORTANT; Each earthquake forecast map is valid from noon the previous day to noon the following day. For example the forecast for January 18th, is valid from noon January 17th to noon January 19th.
The reason for this is; If a peak in risk happens at 11pm on a certain day, an earthquake from that peak may happen
on the following day.

An earthquake prediction is a prediction that an earthquake in a specific magnitude range will occur in a specific region and time window. Seismologists are not currently able to predict earthquakes with such accuracy, though the early results of the Demeter satellite suggest that this could become possible[1]; instead they focus on calculating the seismic hazards of a region by estimating the probabilities that a given earthquake or suite of earthquakes will occur.
